The BC Humanist Association hopes to place ads, despite advertising agency's policies against ads either promoting or opposing any religious viewpoint.
The Vancouver Sun reports that Byron Montgomery, general manager of Lamar Transit Advertising, said that the humanist association have enquired about the possibility, but have not yet submitted a formal ad design proposal.
Lamar handles advertising for the Vancouver transit authority, TransLink, whose policies prohibit advertising that "promotes or opposes a specific theology or religious ethic, point of view, policy or action." Read original article here.
