The Atheist Times has avoided copying news articles in their entirety, mainly because of concerns over copyright violation. We will continue that approach, but will start to include brief excerpts from articles and links to the original.
We expect the change in approach to allow us to increase our coverage of atheist-relevant news and opinions. We always want to ensure that the original writers always receive full credit for their work and also that the original publishers realize the benefits associated with having readers visit their sites. At the same time, we frequently see articles that we would like to include and our previous policy has restricted our coverage.
